Dr. Jolly’s is issuing product recalls for a line of cannabis products that were sold with the incorrect potency and test result information on the product label. The issue was first identified during a routine audit by Dr. Jolly’s and self-reported to the OLCC on 9/20. The units of 1000mg 1:1 THC:CBD Tincture were sold by 25 different recreational marijuana retailers to consumers in the state from 6/9/23 – 9/15/23.

Dr. Jolly’s has worked with the OLCC to identify affected inventory and issue notices to retailers and other licensees to halt further distribution and sale until the label issue has been corrected.

The recall includes the 1000mg 1:1 CBD:THC Tincture UID:1A4010300039E92000086352 identified below:

Incorrect Potency Information

On 9/19/23, Dr. Jolly’s determined that a critical phase in the manufacturing and production process was unintentionally omitted. Consequently, our 1:1 tincture product was released with incorrect potency details. The potency indicated on the menu and label was 1000mg 465.68mg THC / 488.63mg CBD. However, our COA (Certificate of Analysis) reveals a different potency of: 2000mg THC 931.36mg / CBD 976.63.

Essentially, while it remains a 1:1 tincture, the cannabinoid concentration is twice the labeled amount. Since its inclusion on our menu on June 6th, 2023, approximately half of the product line has been purchased by consumers. This discrepancy poses concerns about dose accuracy, consumer safety, and our brand's credibility.

The incorrect potency labeled on the product could lead to unintended stronger effects, possibly causing adverse reactions in sensitive individuals.

Consumers who purchased the recalled products are to be aware that the products are mislabeled. The OLCC has not received any health-related complaints about the use of the recalled products.

Consumers with health-related concerns about a recalled product should contact the Oregon Poison Center at 800-222-1222, or their medical provider.

Consumers with questions for Dr. Jolly’s may contact customercare@drjollys.com.
